HVDC Inc is offering a Protocol/Instruction Day formembers to be held at Wauchope Showground.

 New members welcome.

This is the perfectopportunity for those members:

·        with limited competitionexperience

·        with a young horse

·        wishing to “go up alevel”

·        looking for a nicerelaxing and informative day out with your horse

Takethis great opportunity to practice under arena conditions with the assistanceof an experienced judge and instructor

·                    Nominate your own test (from entry form), have itcritiqued and receive instruction from our judges. Each rider is allocated upto 30 minutes.

·                    Tests are $20.00 per rider/horse combination plus a$5 administration fee per horse for the day – entry limit 1 test per riderunless space available after close of entries. Please indicate if you wouldlike to ride an extra test and we will see if we can accommodate you. Please pay for additional tests with your entry and we willarrange a refund if space is not available

·                    There will be no canteen on the day but we will havea lunch break so everyone can get together and have a social time.

·                    Please note: Stables are available at $2 per horse.Please clean after use.

Entry Conditions:

1.     Theevent will be held in accordance with the current EA dressage rules includingStallion Safe practices.

2.     Stock saddleswill be permitted for Preparatory and Preliminary levels

3.     One rider per horse, maximum one horse perrider

4.     Dogs are not permittedon ground as per Wauchope Show Society regulations.

5.     No prams,strollers or unsupervised children are allowed in the arena or warm up area.

6.     No lunging isallowed in the main arena. Horses may be lunged in the area behind the stablesor in the indoor arena. If weather conditions mean the indoor is to be used forProtocol lessons, it cannot be used for warm up.

7.     Horses being ledin the warm up area must be properly restrained. 

8.     Only horsesthat are entered and in the draw may be on the grounds on the day.

Entries will not be accepted if not fully completed.

Onlymembers are eligible to ride on the day.

10. Riders may be limited if over subscribed. Entriesdated upon receipt.

11. All riders must wear EA approved helmets at all timeswhilst on a horse and will be gear checked by the instructor/judge onpresentation.

12. Hastings Valley Dressage Club Inc reserves the rightto cancel any or all events conditions, retaining the administration fee ifcancelled.

13. Entry form and waiver and membership forms are attached.One entryform per rider.

Horse sports are a dangerous activity and horses can act in a sudden and unpredictable (changeable) way, especially if frightened or hurt.There is a significant risk that serious INJURY or DEATH may result from horse sport activities.I understand and acknowledge the dangers associated with the consumption of alcohol or any mind altering drugs and agree not to drink alcohol or take drugs prohibited by law before or during any horse sports activities. 

I agree to follow the directions of any event organiser or official and that any misconduct or refusal by me to follow any direction of any organiser or official can result in the  CANCELLATION of my participation in the activities and my immediate removal from my horse NO MATTER where that may occur. 

I agree to wear an approved helmet atall times whilst participating in the sport where this is required under therelevant EA and FEI rules and regulations.
